Fast Walking

2nd attempts to jog was too painful for the ankles.

Recalling what Lisa said about alternative exercises for the obese, search on googles revealed that "Fast Walking" could be an alternative exercise that could be as effective but less "harmful" on the bodies.

One helpful link I've found (that includes instructions on how to "Fast Walk" correctly) is at http://www.thewalkingsite.com/howtowalk.html

Personally, I don't enjoy "Fast Walking". Despite 30 minutes of fast walk, I didn't seem to have persired much. :S

Just don't seem to get that sense of satisfaction and detoxification as compared to a good jog

Due to time constraint, the jogging park (formerly a cementry) will also turn pitch dark at 7.30pm. Hence, I could also jog that much as my timid heart could take :P

"As much as I can, I try to enjoy this exercise more by de-stressing through the beautiful scenary and fresh air (especially after the rain)."

"Darker as the minutes pass......"

Exercise

Family is important, religion is important, making money is important. Yet, without health, what is important will be lost.

An attempt on the internet search reveals only blogs and webpages on exercises (that look too painfult) and almost ultimately looking like self selling. Though internet can be very imformative yet these days, it's even more important for the readers to be more alert and exercise more cautious towards what they read. Many things can't just be taken at face value and what's more, many times you do not even know the identity behind the blog.

Same goes for here. Hence, after searching and making extra effort to read through websearch results that are not on the top, I found something which I find, is more useful ->

The ankle pains after some running makes one dread the next session. So, I have always thought, a regular stretching routine would be good enough. Some stretching does help loosen the muscle and makes our heart rate goes faster. And hence, I am glad to find some results that make me think, I might be right after all......
